I'm Selina Nguyen (she/they) and I'm a sex and relationship therapist and founder of Come Back to BedCome Back to Bed is a virtual therapy practice offering online sessions across Australia and worldwide (exceptions of US and Canada).

I've spent years studying the science and the art of good relationships and good sex. I work with folks from many different walks of life, yet all who feel stuck in their relationship, their bodies or sex lives in some way and often wondering "how did we even get here?" or "is it even possible to work through this?". This ranges from folks new in their therapy journey, folks who have just never found the right fit, and folks who have been doing therapy for years but haven't had the space to talk about sex.

With qualifications in psychology, sociology, family and relationship counselling, and psychosexual therapy, and with an academic background in pornography and non-monogamy, I provide the intersection of current research, clinical expertise and life experience. I also get to playfully interweave this with my further explorations and trainings in the worlds of non-monogamy, relational somatics and tantric massage. I'm also an educator and counsellor for Date-Ability, a dating and relationship skills program for folks with disabilities.

In the online world, I'm known for my writing and collaborations with organisations including ABC, Adore Beauty and 9Honey, to create resources on my favourite topics including non-monogamy, consent, pleasure and relationship skills. Amongst all this, I also get to create and host queer events through Love Club including speed dating and erotic dance classes.

Values and identities include: The lenses through which I see the world and my practice is influenced by being Asian-Australian, queer, feminist and a cisgender woman living without disability. I aim to be transparent in all that I do, and I work from an inclusive, non-pathologising and trauma-informed approach. I believe in the healing power of good relationships, and the need for us to learn how to be good romantic and sexual partners. Anchored in somatic, queer and intersectional theories, I believe in empowerment through education, pleasure and connection.

If you've read this far and you want to take the next step, you can join me in session here.
