Frequently Asked Questions
What's your hourly rate or cost per session?
Session cost is $180 for individual sessions, and $280 for partnered sessions.
Individual sessions are 50-60 mins.
Relationship therapy sessions are 70-75 mins.
Do you only offer online or telehealth sessions?
Come Back to Bed is a completely virtual therapy practice. This means we're able to work together regardless of where you are in the world (exceptions of the US and Canada). If you're in a timezone that requires some working around, reach out.
Do you have any weekend availabilities?
Not at the moment. However I offer a range of times throughout the work week. Feel free to contact me if you have non-negotiable requirements and let's see what we can do.
Do you accept Medicare or Private Health Insurance?
Unfortunately not. Relationship and sex counselling are not recognised by Medicare or covered by mental health treatment plans. At this point in time, I do not offer private health insurance rebates.
What can I expect from
a first session?
We always go at your pace and what feels comfortable to you. First sessions generally include a broad discussion of what's brought you in and a history taking of relevant information for example medical, behavioural, relational, and sexual.
I have a partner. Is it best to start with individual or partnered sessions?
There's no right or wrong way to start off therapy. I make a commitment to be transparent and clear with you if I believe sessions would be most beneficial one way or the other.
