Clinical Sexology Supervision

Support, reflection and growth for practitioners working with sex, intimacy and relationships

Who and what I can support with?

Whether you're an experienced practitioner seeking specialist supervision or a new therapist wanting to build confidence in addressing sexual and relational concerns, supervision offers a space to deepen your clinical skills, explore challenges, and support the sustainability of your practice.

This can include sexologists, sexology students, relationship and couples therapists, psychologists, counsellors, social workers and allied health practitioners working with sexual health.

Supervision can support you with:

  • Building confidence discussing sex, pleasure and intimacy with clients

  • Develop your clinical skills in sexology and relationship therapy

  • Navigate complex presentations involving sexual function, trauma, high conflict, non-monogamy or kink

  • Explore countertransference, therapist edges and personal biases that may emerge in the work

  • Strengthen your ethical decision-making and clinical case conceptualisation

  • Integrate sex-positive, trauma-informed and inclusive approaches into your practice

  • Accountability with self-care, reflective processes and boundaries to navigate the emotional demands of the work

  • Setting professional and business goals

  • Realities of running a private practice including professional identity, business, marketing, workloads and admin

My supervision philosophy and practice

My approach to supervision combines clinical expertise, reflective practice, and compassionate curiosity. One-off sessions are available for specific sexology case consultations. However, I believe that like therapy, good supervision is not just about case consultation and quick fixes, but is also about our working relationship.

It's my aim that we can co-create space together where you can bring questions. uncertainty, ethical dilemmas and clinical complexity without judgement. My approaches are largely informed by Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, relational and somatic frameworks. I aim to be collaborative and transparent in supporting you as a therapist and you as a human.
